Computer and IT technologies took very strong positions in our lives. We are spending a lot of time at computer during the work or looking for fun. Our children did not become an exception. Very often child keen on game can spend all day long at the computer.  The long pastime at the computer monitor can be bad for child’s health and for his state of mind. Of course, computer is a progress and there is no any sense to prohibit the child to work at it, but the progress must be under control. The task of parents is to control the time of work at computer but not to isolate the child from it. The program WinAdmin - parental control can help in it.

 

The program have a friendly and simple interface, it controls the time of work at computer, allows to disable access to the folders (opening, removing, deleting) and conducts full statistics of your computer’s using (which user, what did he do during your absence and when)

 

 

Principle of operation: the program WinAdmin – parental control uses the built-in possibility of Windows OS on users’ accounts control.  Parents create the separate account for their child (as the new user) in the system. It is described in detail in the program help how to do it. Your account is protected with password and child cannot enter the system with administrator rights and cancel the time restrictions. Then, the individual time for computer using is assigned for each user.

 

Functions of the program WinAdmin – parental control.

  

• Allows to assign the time interval during a day for computer using individually for every user (child). It is convenient if in the family more than one child of different ages and if it’s necessary to assign own time for every child for computer using.

• Allows to assign the breaks in work of user through the ascertained time intervals and to determine the intervals duration.

• Sets the time, after which work at computer is prohibited. This function can be useful if child often sits at computer till late. There is a possibility to select the week days, during which it is allowed to sit longer at computer, for example over weekend. 

• Allows to block access to the folders easily for every user. This is irreplaceable function when it is necessary to protect any documents against occasional deleting or changing by children.

• Conducts the detailed work protocol of every user. It will be always possible to define, which programs were started, which web-sites were visited and how much time did the child work with some program.

• Controls programs started in Windows system. It is possible to set time restrictions individually for every program.  

• The WinAdmin program has protection mechanism against its’ closing through the task manager. Parents can always be sure that their children will not close the program and cancel time settings, that were set.

• Warns the user about finishing of his work time and about system power-down by means of the sound signal and text message on the screen. 

• Shows the countdown in the small window on the screen until the system shutdown. The user can remove this window optionally.
